The Loss of a Brother
We shared a past the years can’t steal—
small victories, unspoken ties;
now memory holds what hands cannot,
and love learns how to say goodbye.
Though grief walks close and words fall thin,
hope whispers what the heart still knows:
love does not end where life grows still—
it changes form, and gently goes.
So rest, my brother, held in grace;
I’ll carry you where I remain.
Until the day our paths align,
I’ll speak your name—until my time.
